WOLF - LONG-HAIRED DACHSHUND - MALE, 7 YEARS OLD - EPILEPTIC SEIZURES and ADVERSE REACTION TO BARBITURATES - Milan
Lupo has had epileptic seizures since the age of 3 years , he had a serious adverse reaction to the barbiturate (Luminale 15 mg).
In less than 24 hours, his red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets had dropped dramatically (Tricytopenia). He was exhausted, he wasn't eating and he could hardly move.
He was hospitalized and fortunately, by immediately stopping the barbiturate and undergoing intensive therapy, within a few days his bone marrow began to function again and to produce all the blood cells.
Due to the severe allergic reaction he developed, Lupo can no longer take phenobarbital ; he is taking levetiracetam (Keppra) . Until May 2025, he had multiple seizures per month, sometimes even on consecutive days.
In April 2025, the nutritionist and natural therapy expert who had been following us for two months recommended enhancing our antiepileptic therapy with acupuncture and neural therapy. In May, we began an INTEGRA program with Dr. Siviero.
Since the beginning of June, the seizures have been milder, more distant, and with a rapid recovery. A mild, rapid seizure occurs about once a month.
At the end of June we performed the 5th and final treatment, since Lupo was doing much better, we thought about starting again in September.
In mid-July, after being boarded for 10 days, the evening I brought him home, Lupo had a seizure. There were fireworks, and he was very agitated. Then on August 6, he had two more, a little stronger than the last ones, and then again on August 13.
Given the approaching crises and the return of more severe crises like before the treatments, we restarted the INTEGRA method in August in Turin.
In the photo, Lupo has a red needle on the back of his head. He fell asleep for a few minutes during the treatment under my husband's chair.
As with other appointments, even though he doesn't particularly enjoy being handled by doctors, Lupo was calm and enjoyed his treatment. I'm very confident that his seizures will return, becoming milder and less frequent."
DUDA - 4 YEAR OLD FEMALE MIX - IDIOPATHIC EPILEPSY, VERY FREQUENT CLUSTER SEIZURES - Milan
" Duda had frequent cluster seizures, due to idiopathic epilepsy, since the age of 2.
He was undergoing drug therapy with Barbiturates, Potassium Bromide and Pregabalin.
In May we started doing Integrated Therapy treatments (Acupuncture, Neural Therapy, Intestinal Microbiota Modulation, Aromatherapy and Flower Therapy).
Pregabalin was making her very tired, and unfortunately it hadn't improved her seizures, so the neurologist decided to stop it.
In the last 2 months he has no longer had clusters, but single crises with rapid recovery.
The frequency remains high, one crisis every 7-10 days or so, and the doctor is now working on this aspect.
He clearly explained to us that there are several parameters that define the severity of crises. Therefore, to understand if there are improvements, they all need to be evaluated together.
Intensity, frequency, pre-seizure phase, post-seizure phase, and how the dog is doing between one seizure and the next are the main aspects to evaluate in order to understand the effectiveness of the therapies undertaken.
In the photo Duda is undergoing an acupuncture treatment, you can see the 2 needles behind her head, after the first few minutes from the insertion of the needles she almost fell asleep for the entire duration of the treatment". GM
KIRA - 3- YEAR-OLD FEMALE ENGLISH SETTER - VIOLENT CLUSTER SEIZURES EVERY 12-18 DAYS, WITH CONSTANT CONFUSION, LOW VISION ON THE LEFT SIDE, and HANDLING - Padua
Kira started having seizures in February 2022. In recent months, they've become increasingly violent. She's launched like a rocket into the air, slamming into everything, and by the time she's recovered, she's having more. She's having clusters of 14-15 seizures in 2-3 consecutive days. Each time, they leave some after-effects. After the last one, last night, her left eye is more closed and she can't see in that direction.
Since February 2023, after a three-day crisis, her head has remained tilted and her left hand has remained in place. For the past five months, we've been sleeping on the couch to be with her. Getting up at 6 a.m. for work is becoming increasingly difficult; we're very tired.
In March 2023 we decided to start a DISTANCE INTEGRA PROGRAM, unfortunately we work all day, and we are not able to take a day to bring Kira to Turin for the treatments.
I wasn't expecting much, especially considering the remote work, but something told me I was on the right track.
In the first telephone contact with the doctor I told her: "I'm excited, because she should be my savior, or my dog's savior" :)
Today, 9 months later, I sent this message of congratulations:
" Many, many Merry Christmas wishes to the person who made all this possible! A special wish to whoever was able to give a happy life to our beloved Kira who, as you can see, is doing great! She's staying in shape having lost 3kg... she hasn't had any more seizures since March 28th! We will never stop thanking her ❤️" AD
JOLIE - 1-YEAR-OLD FEMALE SHETLAND SHEPHERD - STRESS, PHOBIAS, AND CRIPPLING PANIC ATTACKS - Novara
" When the wind blows, Jolie is paranoid. She doesn't eat or drink, she locks herself in dark corners, and lately she's been hiding in the closet . She doesn't interact with anyone there , she doesn't even move to pee. When she has these panic attacks, it takes her at least a week to return to normal. We feel really sorry for her, it makes us feel bad, we experience a sense of helplessness . Even if we pick her up , in those moments there's nothing that can reassure her. She goes back to her corner sadly.
We turned to her to see if it was possible to somehow reduce this state of profound anxiety that made her live in constant fear.
It was possible!
Jolie has improved dramatically. She can now handle many situations that would have previously terrified her for days without all that anxiety.
Her shy and fearful nature still remains, but now Jolie has learned to adapt much better to all stressful events and no longer has those violent panic attacks.
MATILDE - 12- YEAR-OLD WEIMARANER FEMALE - 2 YEARS OF UNCONTROLLABLE SEIZURES, 3 YEARS OF NEWFOUND YOUTH, A SLOW AND SERENE END OF LIFE - Milan
It may seem very strange, but we've only chosen to write a review today, a year after the end of our beloved Matilde's life. Yet only now do we realize we've done the best thing ever for her: we've given her three years of renewed youth, a true second life.
Until she was 4, we lived a dream, filled with games, long hikes everywhere (lake, sea, mountains), agility, dog dancing, and so much more, just the two of us together. Just shy of her 5th birthday, our nightmare began: her first epileptic seizures, 12 in the space of 3 hours. What a shock! What anguish! What pain, what a pity to see her like this!
MRI, blood tests, ultrasounds, all negative. We followed every recommendation from the neurologists and experts we consulted to the letter, but unfortunately, there was nothing we could do. The seizures continued unabated, and the medications seemed like "just water."
Matilde had violent weekly seizures. Occasionally, there would be a two-week break, but then the onset of seizures would become even more severe. She was desperate; all our efforts were in vain; no doctor, no medication could offer Matilde relief.
Mat was no longer our Mat, drugged; she was apathetic, staggering, and lacking the joy of living that made her special. We too were exhausted, sleep-deprived, having traveled so many miles, tense and constantly on edge.
At seven years old, after four consecutive days of cluster seizures, Matilde entered a whirlwind of partial seizures. We couldn't even count them; the hours of the day she spent in seizures were more than those she spent awake. Every time she curled up to relax, the wave of partial seizures would begin. She was very irritated, scratched her face frequently, didn't want to be touched on the head, and hadn't been able to sleep for so long. Poor little thing, how sad. We couldn't see her like this anymore, and above all, it was no longer a decent life for her. Finally, we made up our minds: we were ready for euthanasia, to put an end to this torment, for her and for us.
My sister was the only one who didn't want to give up. She spent almost the entire night wondering: "We have to try. If it worked for other severely refractory epileptics, why can't it work for Mat too? Let's give it one last chance!" Her stubbornness convinced us. It's thanks to my sister that we came to you, doctor. We began the process immediately. After the first treatment, Matilde regained her ability to sleep—the first miracle. It didn't seem possible. Within a month, Mat was back to wanting to run and play. We couldn't believe it. Here comes the second miracle, amazing!
The seizures occurred every 10-20 days, but with very mild clusters, and between them, Matilde was in good shape and recovering very well. This was Matilde's second youth, a new life. Three joyful years, despite the mild and sporadic seizures, comparable in every way to her first five years of seizure-free life.
Thanks to you, doctor, we learned many very useful practical things, not only for Matilde, but for the whole family, which, as you know very well, we immediately put into practice.
Chronic inflammation, intestinal health, anti-epileptic massage, anti-inflammatory nutrition, energy meridians, and so much more—I'd have to dig out my notebook to remember. In short, for Matilde and for all of us, it's been a journey that has helped us, and is helping us, live better.
Until she was 10, Matilde was in great shape, despite the fact that her age was beginning to take its toll. A few months after her birthday, she became deaf, and from then on, her natural, slow decline began. Even in this final phase of her life, Integrated Therapies supported and accompanied her, gently and effectively, even through the most difficult moments of her life.
The light in her eyes spoke clearly to us until the very end; she was content, happy, and completely satisfied and grateful for her life. Her serenity and that light were the greatest gifts she could have given us. A fantastic way to show her gratitude and reward all our efforts.
Despite the inevitable and painful separation, seeing her sleeping peacefully in her living room, on her favorite rug next to the fireplace, knowing that she hadn't died of epileptic seizures, not in a cold, chaotic clinic, stuffed with drugs, was an enormous relief...
Mat's story, which began and ended in joy, and which passed through shock, desperation, fear, pain, exhaustion, and near-euthanasia, has left us with a rich baggage of emotions and experiences.
We unanimously decided to adopt another one, and it was with immense joy (in our opinion also for Mat) that Diana arrived! SR
DJANGO - 1 YEAR FREE FROM CRISIS - Turin
"A year without a crisis... we are a whirlwind of happiness and gratitude. Needless to say, without you, Dr. Django wouldn't be here with us... You've changed our lives, THANK YOU!"
" An improvement that would have already made us happy would have been to have one or two mild seizures a month. What we've achieved is an extraordinary result! We're immensely satisfied, and we're experiencing infinite joy . "
Doctor's note: Django's treatments began when he had violent cluster seizures once or twice a month, requiring him to be rushed to the emergency room and hospitalized. Django immediately demonstrated the best treatments for him, and the results were immediate.

GOLD - 5-YEAR-OLD MALE GOLDEN RETRIEVER - VERY SEVERE EPILEPTIC SEIZURES AFTER STRESSFUL EVENTS (THUNDERSTORMS, STRONG FEARS) - Turin
"The storm season was always a difficult time for Gold, his discomfort was evident: his tail was low, he was trembling, he was breathing heavily, he was salivating. In his fourth year of life, he also started having epileptic seizures, always after severe stressful events . Gold started traditional therapies, which, fortunately, had a good effect on the seizures, but every stressful event for him inevitably turned into a seizure. For a few years we continued like this, we didn't know we could do anything different, more.
Then a friend of ours recommended Dr. Siviero to us, specifically to improve stress management . No sooner said than done! Gold immediately began to feel more serene and stable, and above all, every stressful event no longer gave rise to a crisis. We were struck by the excellent relationship that Gold established with the doctor from the very first moments ( the relationship with us also improved :-), he immediately trusted and entrusted himself to her care, which is uncommon for him." RAMBO - 6-YEAR-OLD MALE WHIPPET - EPILEPSY, SAD AND TIRED DOG - Como
"After three years since the onset of seizures and the diagnosis of epilepsy, we were deeply heartbroken. We thought his life would continue with many moments of pain and very few moments of serenity and joy. Before our eyes, we saw a sad and unmotivated little dog; we didn't believe we could get out of that situation.
As I write, he's barking and playing with our daughter. It feels like Rambo has returned home after a very long journey. It's him again! BR
NAPOLEONE - 6-YEAR-OLD MALE GREAT DANE - FREQUENTLY SUFFERING FROM CLUSTER SEIZURES - Gorizia
"For two years now, Napoleon had been having cluster seizures every 20 days or so. No specialist, no medication, no treatment had helped Napo out of this situation. We were disheartened and resigned to our sad fate.
By chance, on a Facebook page we follow, we heard an interview with Dr. Siviero about managing epilepsy with Integrated Medicine (honestly, we didn't know what it was, much less that it could help epileptic dogs). We appreciated the simplicity and clarity, as well as the extensive experience that shone through in the doctor's stories.
At that moment, we saw a glimmer of hope and felt there might be other ways to help Napo. Despite the distance, we immediately booked a remote consultation.
From our first visit, we received such meticulous and timely care, unlike anything we'd ever experienced. After the initial remote assessment, the doctor gave us helpful advice to implement immediately. We learned the importance of aspects we'd completely overlooked. For example, all the foods that can increase seizures, and the close connection between food, the gut, and the brain. Seasonality, the timing of certain medications, and much more.
No sooner said than done, we immediately saw the first improvements: the seizures decreased in frequency and severity. And his general health improved dramatically.
So we asked the doctor to start the INTEGRA - REBALANCE program. It was a very interesting journey for us, but above all, very useful for Napo. He changed, he became more lively and joyful again (compatible with his being a Great Dane :-) and he had fewer seizures every 30-40 days.
We are now continuing with sporadic maintenance treatments.
In these months we have only been to Dr. Siviero once, we are very happy to say that the distance was not a limit, on the contrary it allowed us to learn how to manage Napo directly, with massages, nutrition and much more". PR
RUSSEL - RHODESIAN RIDGBACK MALE, 8 YEARS OLD - WAS AGITATED AND WANDERED AROUND THE HOUSE NONSTOP - Bergamo
"In 2017, Russel had his first epileptic seizure, and until this summer, seizures were rare (2-3 a year). In July, he started doing strange things, wandering around the house at night, becoming completely apathetic, not wanting to go out or play, he never stopped, I didn't recognize him anymore!
Now, with integrated therapies, he's much better and back to his former self, even though unfortunately he was diagnosed with a serious illness that we can't stop. We're happy that he's doing much better (he's back to running and playing), and we'll do everything we can to make his final months worth living, thanks also to the ongoing care of Dr. Siviero, who follows us with professionalism and experience. We recommend her to anyone we know who has dogs or cats with serious problems. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Medical Note : Russel also underwent an innovative and experimental intracranial surgery for gliomas, which extended his life by several months.
EMILY - 10- YEAR-OLD FEMALE HOUND - EVERY 40-60 DAYS SINCE 2018 - Milan
ZOE - 14-YEAR-OLD FEMALE SHIBA INU - EPILEPTIC SEIZURES DUE TO CEREBRAL CORTEX DEGENERATION (Pathology similar to Alzheimer's in humans) - Rome
"Good morning, Dr. Zoe, she's much better, even though the heat is making her very tired. She's sleeping better and more alert. I've noticed that lactulose helps a lot because she chews much less empty-headedly. Tell us our story; any small gesture makes a huge difference for those who are without hope. After all, our search for help brought us together, and I can only thank you for rekindling our hope... we were desperate. Seeing Zoe more alert and present now gives us immense joy. We hope to accompany her to a peaceful old age. I'll try to write her story, but with a little patience... thank you from the bottom of my heart."
For a few months now, Zoe had started doing strange things: she was often absent, sometimes she dragged her left foot, she didn't want to eat or drink, she was very restless at night, she seemed to live in her own parallel world.
One month later, first epileptic seizure, then significant post-seizure agitation.
All necessary tests were performed, altered liver values and a degeneration of the cerebral cortex (a degenerative brain disease very similar to Alzheimer's in humans).
All the medications used to control her seizures had a paradoxical effect: instead of calming her, they only further agitated her. Not being able to use the medications to control her seizures greatly increased the owners' anxiety and sense of helplessness. As her human wrote: "Nothing worked; in fact, it had the opposite effect. We didn't know what to do, we were desperate!"
It wasn't easy to create an Integrated Medicine protocol for Zoe. Not only could I not use medications, I couldn't even use direct treatments to act on the cerebral cortex (acupuncture, neural therapy, etc.). We were so far away, she would have been too stressed by the trip.
It was clear to me right away that I had to take small steps and monitor his responses in order to continually refine the therapies.
Her owner wanted to do everything that could give Zoe even a small benefit.
Within the first two weeks, Zoe became more alert, present almost all day, and rested peacefully at night. During this first month of integrated therapy, we had two epileptic seizures, milder than usual; the first was followed by agitation lasting about two hours, and the second with a much shorter post-seizure period.
The message above, written by its owner, arrived 20 days after starting the INTEGRA journey.

DRILLY - 9-YEAR-OLD FEMALE BELGIAN SHEPHERD MALINOIS - OUR LITTLE GIRL HAD BEEN TRANSFORMED SINCE SHE STARTED TAKING MEDICATIONS - Biella
"Drilly had lived wonderfully until she was 6, with long walks and lots of play almost every day. On weekends, she always came with us: to the sea, mountains, boats, climbing, hiking, ferry, lake... we took her everywhere and were delighted to share our most beautiful activities with her. Then, suddenly, with no apparent cause, violent cluster seizures arrived every two weeks. We had to start her on anti-epileptic drugs, and our life changed dramatically.
Drilly was dull, her eyes no longer shone, she just wanted to sleep, and even walking her around to do her business had become difficult. The medications weren't working, and despite all these effects, which had transformed our little girl, the cluster seizures continued to occur about every 20 days. We saw that the pills were making her increasingly tired. We looked for an alternative, and we found it! And after 2-3 weeks of starting the new treatments, to our great surprise, our Drilly was back to her best. Thank you so much." LG
Medical note : The hereditary genetic transmission of epilepsy has been demonstrated in the Belgian Shepherd, dogs of this breed often have poor results with traditional therapies, even with multiple drugs at high doses.
ONYX - 5-YEAR-OLD SAMOYED - MENINGOUS SEIZURES - ENCEPHALITIS - Lecco
"Hi Tecla, here I am! She hasn't had any more seizures in the last few months. I'm very happy because it seems impossible, but this is the sixth month without antiepileptics. I hope to have to use them as late as possible. What more can I say? Her liver thanks you too." MP
LUNA - SALUKI 2 YEARS OLD - CLUSTER SEIZURES EVERY 10-15 DAYS - Monza
Our family life has changed a lot. We don't go out together anymore. There's always someone at home with her, who can help her immediately in case of a crisis. My sleep isn't the same anymore; it's a wakeful sleep. As soon as I hear a different noise, I jump up like a cricket and go to see if Luna is okay. I do it willingly, but I have to admit that after so many months, I'm starting to get tired. I really needed to find an effective alternative, and I found it. We're all feeling much better!
Now Luna has a much milder seizure every 30-40 days. This is a great result for us. I no longer feel alone; I've found a point of reference in times of need, who helps and supports me. Thank you for this too!" LM
BEAR - LARGE SWISS MOUNTAIN DOG , 3 YEARS OLD , MALE - EPILEPTIC SEIZURES, BRAIN MALFORMATIONS, INTESTINAL PROBLEMS - Lugano, Switzerland
YUPI - 4 YEAR OLD MALE DACHSHUND - CRISIS ONSET AFTER ATTACK BY A CANE CORSO DOG - Tori no
" I was sitting at the table, and Yupi was peacefully below me. We were enjoying a peaceful break in a welcoming bar in the centre. There were many people at the nearby tables.
Suddenly, a Czechoslovakian wolf bursts into the bar and runs toward us like a rocket. I'm terrified, but I quickly pick Yupi up. The wolf slashes his thigh, then, not content, attacks my side with its teeth. Luckily, after a few minutes, the owner catches up and calms him down.
Shocked, with Yupi in my arms, bleeding, I leave the bar. Thankfully, there's a veterinary clinic just a few hundred meters away.
Stitches are needed to close the wound, let's proceed immediately.
From that moment on, whenever we leave the house , we fear having unpleasant encounters . Every time we see a large dog, we experience the fear of that aggression again. I even had nightmares and several sleepless nights.
Exactly 1 week later, Yupi has his first epileptic seizure.
Could it be a coincidence?
There was a second seizure five months later, then two the following month. The neurologist recommended starting a barbiturate.
I searched the web to see if there were any other treatment options besides medication.
Dr. Siviero was very clear in telling me that the drug is often necessary.
Equally necessary, especially for long and demanding therapies, is supporting the body so that it can best coexist with the drug (i.e. fewer side effects and greater efficacy).
Another point that struck me during the first visit was the importance of working through the trauma experienced.
According to the doctor, the trauma of the attack may have been a factor that
facilitated the onset of the crises.
In addition to Integrated Therapy, I therefore decided to undertake an INTEGRA program dedicated to processing trauma.
During the first visit, Yupi wouldn't sit still, he barked, and he didn't want to be touched. Even at home, he was quite aggressive.
At the first meeting, he amazed everyone. He didn't bark, and stayed in my arms for the entire treatment. In the following days, he also began to feel more at ease at home.
At the second meeting he almost fell asleep on my arm while the doctor was doing the moxa.
We're both much more relaxed, and... Yupi hasn't had any more seizures!"
MAKO - 5-YEAR-OLD MALE CZECHOSLOVAKIAN WOLF - CLUSTER SEIZURES EVERY 10-15 DAYS, EVEN BETWEEN SEIZURES, MAKO IS OFF AND HAS LOST HIS NORMAL VIVACITY - Milan
" Mako began having seizures in March 2023 at the age of 4. From the first month, the seizures became frequent, with clusters of 3/4 seizures each within 24 hours.
Diagnostic tests revealed no brain pathology, and primary idiopathic epilepsy was therefore diagnosed. Despite the medications we began administering in early May, the seizures continued to be numerous. Every 10-15 days, Mako would have a cluster of 3-4-6 seizures, which left him in a prolonged state of confusion, agitation, and at times, almost dazed. Even during the seizure-free periods between clusters, Mako was dull and had lost his vivacity due to the medications. By the end of August, we were very discouraged and pessimistic, resigned to further increasing the medication dosages as the only way to reduce the seizures a little. In early September, while searching online for a veterinarian specializing in the treatment of this condition, we discovered Dr. Siviero and her integrative medicine approach. We then began a treatment program for Mako with her, which addressed several aspects: his diet was partially modified, we eliminated some foods, and we introduced specific nutritional supplements; The doctor treated Mako with acupuncture, tuina massage, and neural therapy sessions. She suggested changes to his medication, in consultation with our veterinarian, and taught us how to use aromatherapy and music as relaxation tools.
Over the course of 4 months Mako gradually improved in terms of frequency and intensity
of the seizures: right from the start the interval between one cluster of seizures and the next lengthened up to 4 weeks and the last cluster manifested itself with only 2 epileptic seizures from which Mako recovered quickly.
The continuous psychological and practical support we received from Dr. Tecla, both during outpatient sessions and by phone during crisis periods, was irreplaceable; we never felt alone, and this helped us navigate even difficult times with less anxiety.
Mako is doing well now. 25 days have passed since his last seizure, and he's regained his former vivacity. We know the seizures will return, but thanks to the doctor, we've learned to manage them, and we feel calmer and more confident. The passion and empathy with which Dr. Tecla approaches her "furry" patients are truly unique! OC
"Good morning, Doctor, Mako is fine and yesterday he walked for 7 hours with us, perhaps the only Czechoslovakian wolfdog to reach 2500 meters above sea level."
"I wanted to write: the only EPILEPTIC Czechoslovakian wolfdog to reach 2,500 m."
CESARE - 2-YEAR-OLD MALE SPINONE - DRUG- REFRACTORY EPILEPTIC SEIZURES - Alessandria
"In desperation, we sought out a veterinarian with expertise in epilepsy that was unresponsive to medication."
Cesare was taking 8 tablets a day (Phenoleptil, Libromide, Keppra), he was confused, staggering, he didn't play with his sister, he looked like a 15 year old dog, even though he was just over 2, and... he kept having seizures!
We didn't know what to do anymore...
Today, after 1 month of INTEGRA, Cesare is present, cheerful, he has started playing again, he seems, finally, like a normal dog, and ... HE HAS NOT HAD A SEIZURE FOR MORE THAN 1 MONTH, we almost can't believe it 😄🐾❤ " DG
MADDOX - 5 YEAR OLD MALE CAT - SUSPECTED EPILEPTIC SEIZURES , WITH MANIFESTATION OF GREAT AGITATION AND MADLY RUNNING - Turin
PAKITA - 16-YEAR-OLD FEMALE SHITZU - CAN'T WALK. SHE'S BEEN CRYING ALL NIGHT LONG FOR OVER A MONTH - Rho
"When we first visited Pakita she was like this:
She was unable to walk on her own , to make her pee I took her out with 2 harnesses (like a puppet, poor little thing!), she was apathetic, with a dull eye , constant tremors and clonus of the whole body, epileptic seizures once every 20-30 days.
I was really desperate, she had been like this for over a month, the next inevitable step seemed marked.
Then, searching the web, I came across this very page, and I started reading these incredible stories . I honestly didn't believe it was possible that dogs who were so ill could have such improvements with the INTEGRA METHOD.
I thought this doctor would be my last resort. I had little to lose...
And here I am today, writing my incredible story too.
Today, after having done an INTEGRA course, Pakita has started walking on her own again, she is alert, much more attentive, she follows us with her gaze , she asks to go out, she often manages to sleep all night.
Ohh I forgot, today we are 76 days without a crisis!
What can I say... It happened to us too, it almost seems like a miracle!
We are so happy that our little girl can spend some more time with us in good health . Thank you so much." LR
YANEZ - 2- YEAR- OLD MALE AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD - DRUG-REFRACTORY EPILEPSY - Monza
Federica Di Bartolomeo shares the incredible story of Yanez, a beautiful Australian Shepherd suffering from drug-resistant epilepsy. After trying everything and almost giving up hope, Federica discovers that other dogs, suffering from even more severe forms of epilepsy, are seeing significant improvements thanks to Integrated Medicine. Yanez was taking three anti-epileptic drugs in combination and continued to have violent cluster seizures every 15-20 days.
After only 3 months Yanez...
BAY - 2-YEAR-OLD MALE AMERICAN COCKER - DRUG-REFRACTORY IDIOPATHIC EPILEPSY - Varese
"I couldn't stand stuffing him with drugs anymore!
I was desperate, yet another cluster, and this time Bay had even howled, poor little thing, how heartbreaking! I felt helpless, was it possible that there was nothing else to do? I couldn't resign myself.
Even the last neurologist confirmed that we were already doing everything we could. Every time Bay was admitted to the hospital (even 10 seizures in the space of a few hours), the only change suggested was an increase in the medications he was already taking, or the addition of a new pill.
Unfortunately, the drugs didn't help much from the start. They weren't working at all!
One evening, after finishing yet another bunch, I was overcome by despair and despair and spent the whole night online.
I have found other people in my same situation with refractory epileptic dogs, treated with the "INTEGRA METHOD".
Now, six months after that night, we want to thank the doctor again, because we have returned to a normal life, our Bay is doing well and has rediscovered the desire to play. SL"
CHANEL - 3-YEAR-OLD FEMALE PERSIAN CAT - DAILY PARTIAL AND GENERALIZED SEIZURES - Varese
"Chanel had her first seizure exactly one month after being spayed... what a shock! We thought she was dying.
From there our ordeal began, seizures 2-3 times a month, often clusters, hospitalizations, drugs, drugs, drugs and she was asleep almost the whole day.
Chanel was no longer herself; our lives were overwhelmed and turned upside down, and we all had to adapt too. We worked day and night shifts to be close to her and help her in times of crisis. Deep sleep was a distant memory. We slept with one ear always alert, and at the first suspicious noise we went to check on her. For three years, we lived this unspeakable nightmare.
For 6 months with the INTEGRA protocol we feel like we have been reborn, Chanel has woken up from her torpor, she still has some seizures, but usually very mild and once a month, in these last 4 months no more clusters, we almost can't believe it.
Chanel is back, and with her, our lives, we're all over the moon. KING"
LULU' - 4-YEAR-OLD FEMALE SHIBA INU - EPILEPSY WITH VERY LONG RECOVERY TIME - Turin
"Every time she had many cluster seizures, and was then strange and very agitated for several hours after the seizures ended, we feared that she might become aggressive and above all that these changes could become permanent, and Lulù would never be the same again!
Now this phase after the crisis lasts much less, Lulù is no longer as agitated as before, it's as if she has learned to manage it, usually she curls up and sleeps peacefully." AQ
BALDO - 6- YEAR- OLD FEMALE ITALIAN POINTER - REFRACTORY EPILEPSY WITH CLUSTER SEIZURES - Verbania
"We've tried everything. Despite three high-dose medications, there's been no improvement. We've been going on like this for a year now... Maybe it's better not to make her suffer anymore..."
We were deeply saddened when the vet told us these words. We were tired, almost convinced and resigned, but we didn't have the heart to put her down. So what should we do?
We looked for alternative treatments to drugs, even though I, especially myself, didn't believe in them at all... acupuncture, herbal medicine, and homeopathy had always been just "water" for me. So we looked for a veterinarian who, rather than excluding different approaches, would use them together.
Today, all of this seems like a distant memory. After just two months, the dog's seizure intervals have doubled, even reducing the dose of one medication and completely eliminating the second. She's become playful again, and it seems like she's grateful when she looks at us.
To prolong the effects of her treatments, the doctor also taught us some acupuncture points to massage, and they really work! LG"
APOLLO - 4-YEAR-OLD MALE GERMAN SHEPHERD - DRAGGED HIS HIND LEGS AFTER BARBITURATES - Turin
Apollo began dragging his hind legs significantly. For the first year, when he had seizures about every four months and wasn't taking any medication, aside from those sporadic seizures, he was doing great and was as bright and energetic as ever. When the seizures increased and we started using barbiturates, Apollo slowed down, became apathetic, and had reduced control of his hind legs, to the point of dragging them.
From the very beginning, we looked for alternative therapies to traditional drugs, and years went by without finding effective alternative therapies. Despite everything, we never gave up and finally found the path we were looking for. Since starting the treatment with Dr. Siviero, Apollo has regained his energy, his desire to play, and...we've now forgotten that he used to drag his legs! DL
Medical note : Inheritance of genetics is strongly suspected in German Shepherds, so breeding epileptic individuals is discouraged. Unfortunately, the first seizures generally appear after a few years of life, and the animals have often already reproduced. Relying on reputable breeders, maintaining contact with your German Shepherd's parents and siblings, and knowing their family tree can be very helpful.
ARA - AKITA INU 2 YEARS OLD - TOO MANY VIOLENT AND CLUSTERS OF SEVERE SEIZURES - Ivrea
" Ara began to experience violent cluster seizures at the age of 9 months. From the first episodes, she had 10-15 cluster seizures, very severe; we had to rush to the emergency room immediately and she remained hospitalized for 2-3 days, we did this from September to January, on average she needed hospitalization twice a month... And after that? When she came home for at least 2-3 days she was severely dizzy from the drugs used to sedate the seizures. Basically, our Ara was healthy for 2 weeks out of 4 and we spent the other two managing the seizures, we were truly desperate! This motivated us to look for other ways to resolve the situation.
Today we can say, with immense joy, that we have found them! In February, we began the INTEGRA program, which even included water puncture with Colloidal Gold. Since March, Ara hasn't had any more seizures (it's now been nine months since we started the program), and we're back to living! Thank you so much!
